About Us

The Mexican Council on Foreign Affairs (COMEXI) is dedicated to the study, analysis and dialogue about international and global issues. Our objective is to generate ideas that open us to the world. To achieve this, we create a community and networks, open spaces for debate regarding relevant nuclei of knowledge, and we produce information and propositions that contibute to the world we live in, impact decision-making, and influence public policy for the benefit of Mexico and the world.

COMEXI's largest capital is its membership's talent; we gather over 500 expert and seasoned members, specialized in multiple arenas of the theory and practice of international relations and global affairs, as well as diverse aspects of Mexican diplomacy, politics, society, culture, education, economics and sciencie, to name a few.

At COMEXI, we are always open to new talent, experiences and topics of interest because we understand we live in a changing world. In COMEXI, all voices matter because plurality, equality of opportunity and participation, as well as innovation, are fundamental for our work and for building the future.

Board of Directors

The Board of Directors is the collegiate body, elected democratically among COMEXI's members, that establishes the guiding vision for the Council's work, in order to generate ideas that open us up to the world and that project Mexico to the world

COMEXI's members are a community of people, corporations and institutions interested in knowledge production and understanding of the undeniable link between Mexico and the world.

One of COMEXI's main values comes from the talent and diversity of its membership. We look for members whose backgrounds help us broaden our perspective and whose initiative adds toward achieving the Council's goal of being a referent in Mexico's international and global agenda. Our membership is a multidisciplinary group of experts, among whom are opinion leaders, businesspeople, diplomatics, public servants, academics and professionals in a variety of fields

Nombre

COMEXI's corporate members are enterprises interested and involved in world trends and the influence international events have in Mexico. The debates fostered by COMEXI, through seminars and publications, offer our corporate members valuable information about economic, political and social affairs.

Equipo COMEXI

COMEXI's staff works to articulate and implement the strategies put forth by the Board of Directors, and which involve all members. With an incomparable synergy, our staff is the hinge that links and enables the Council's efforts.

COMEXI's Young Professionals Program

The Young Professionals Program is a space within COMEXI in which members under 35 generate community and networks, and pursue initiatives that address their interests as future experts ans leaders in their fields.

Through this program, COMEXI furthers its committment with plurality and inclusion, as it empowers the younger generation to open themselves to the world and work towards building Mexico's future
